Countdown -A Continuence

Ah yes, the Countdown to the end of the Bush Regime goes on. I didn't post anything yesterday, as I foolishly though I could take a break, do some other things and catch up easily early this morning on my blog reading and then post the Bushisms.

But, you know that old saying about mice, men and best laid plans, don't you? Well it sure did seem like very blog I subscribe to on my reader had at least one new post both yesterday and today! So it took me the better part of the day to get through with that.

But anyway, that's why I'm late -well, that and a certain little almost five-year-old girl, who is frequently the subject of many of my posts here. But that's another post too.

So, here's the lovely bits of balderdash for this coming week -in other words -this week's Bushisms.

"As Luce reminded me, he said, without data, without facts, without information, the discussions about public education mean that a person is just another opinion."

"Free societies are hopeful societies. And Free societies will be allies against these hateful few who have no conscience, who kill at the whim of a hat."
--Washington, D.C., September 2004

Friday, September 12, 2008 - 130 days left

"Now, tell me the truth, boys: Is this kind of fun?"
--House majority leader Tom DeLay to three boys left homeless by Hurricane Katrina, September 2005

Saturday and Sunday, September 13/14, 2008 - 129 days left and 128 days left

"I will have a foreign-handed foreign policy."

And th-th-th-that's all folks -for today anyway!

Sometimes you just need to take a break. If I don't have anything to say, I just leave it alone for a few days.

I'm with the good ole doc. Only my breaks are usually four months long (hee hee).

I always love the Bushims.

Haven't you learned by now that any time you take a break, the reader gets out of control? I hate when my reader is out of control. If I just didn't have to sleep or work, I could keep up VERY easily!
