Teenager Issues

The 16-year-old here sometimes gets really frustrated as well as feeling embarrassed somedays when she gets an outbreak of stuff -pimples and such - on her face. And let's face it, most likely all of us have had issues like that from time to time too when in our teens. Sometimes it continues well into adulthood too.

And why is it every time that happens, it always seems to coincide with an event for which we want to look our absolute best too and how the dickens can you possibly do that if you end up with zits and stuff on your face then? Why is that? Makes me a firm believer, for sure, in good old Murphy and his stupid law!

Heck, even at my very advanced age, I even develop things like that too from time to time.

So what do you do to get rid of them or at least cover them up as best you can? I hate to try to put make-up over 'em cause it always tends to make them look even worse -stand out in the crowd for sure type thing then ya know.

I'm thinking maybe what we need here is a nice container of pimple cream to use to try to heal them properly and as quickly as can be done then too!

Believe it or not normally it is the stress and worry of getting a zit before a special event that helps them erupt.
Pro-Active is some amazing stuff- You Must use it as directed.
I have nothing for the cover-up issue other then my best wishes that thing will work out in spite of the issue.

yep those teenage years can be rough ones-being self conscience of everything- and today teenagers have so many more pressures of looking good- I wouldn't want to be them!

I hear from a niece that she can't live without pro-activ and has requested gift certificates for her birthday and Christmas and any time we are thinking of a gift for her...right on, your teen might make the same request!
I have an award for you at my place..check the post just before the Brenda Photo Challenge post..
hugs

Oh I remember it so well but did outgrow it. Most other teenagers have the same problem, no consolation at the time, I know.

I've heard that ProActive works well. Me, well I'm gonne try retiring next spring and see if that doesn't help ease the stress levels. :-)

I think pimples are just a natural part of being a teenager.

Retirement definitely relieves stress and opens the door to enjoyment and new adventures which are the exact opposite of stress. For teenagers learning to deal with disappointment in real life and real time, a zit unfortunately is a good teacher.

I remember unsuccessfully hiding zits as a teen. Teenagers have it tough with all of those changes and I cannot imagine the pressure with all of their delightful role models in the media nowadays.

I too will sing the praises of Pro-Activ and their new green tea treatment is great.

I had great skin as a teen but then had adult acne.

Now my skin's just old lol Pimples don't want to hang out there much.

Acne cream works well. We have tubes of the stuff in all the bathrooms. Heh!
