Things To Be Done

Today, I've been trying to get myself motivated and organized so I can get the things done I need to do in the next couple of weeks.
So far, I have things set up for the four people from Sweden who will be visiting this area from next Thursday - May 10th- thru Sunday, May 13th for one lady from church so far who will have them for supper next Thursday night and also, offered to try to show them around the township a little bit. However, she says as far as taking them down to show them Peale, the local ghost town, well that will be my responsibility! I'm planning to have them for dinner here probably next Sunday, on Mother's Day, since my family and I don't usually do a big thing on Mother's Day (mainly because both my daughters usually seem to end up having to work that day.) And, another lady from an adjacent village has also said she would have the group for dinner one day while they are here too so I really only need to get things lined up for one other family (I hope) who will take them under their wing too for a meal then.
Then, I have another scarf I'm working on that I want to finish up along with other yarn I got recently to use in making scarves too. I have enough of this new yarn to make at least 5 scarves but can't seem to find the time to sit down and knit without falling asleep while doing it! Maybe I should leave those projects to really late at night - like watching Jay Leno and then MAYBE it would make me really sleepy then so I would go to bed a bit earlier, sleep longer maybe then too and be more rested, overall. Yeah - it sounds good on paper but... we shall see!
And then there's the bibs project too. I'm going to start getting the towel (fabric) ready tonight, line up the fabric I plan to use for the rib trim necklines and get that measured out and cut. Then, I'll just have to go on a "search and destroy" mission here to find the presser foot for my sewing machine so I'll actually be able then to put these together. A while back, I realized the presser foot had been removed on my sewing machine and found it no where near the machine so I know the way it got taken off the machine was that some little girl here had been putting her fingers on things she is supposed to not touch. I did have it stashed on top of the hard drive of my computer - where I could see it and knew where it was but I don't see it there now so I'm hoping maybe all I did was to move it slightly and it will surely turn up. If not, then I'll have to make a run over to State College to either the Joanne Fabric store there or to the Singer Sewing Machine shop to get a replacement foot for the machine.
Ah, little children and the things they like to get into, huh?
And now - the Bushism gem for today!

Where do you find all the "bushism". I know he says alot of "weird things" but had no idea how many.
