Trying to get computer time around this place sometimes is a little difficult. Yesterday, I repeatedly got bumped off because my SIL wanted to search for some car parts he needs to order and Mandy then wanted time to talk to her friends. Then, my wacky sleep patterns put me out of the lineup when I fell asleep around 11:30 p.m. and now, here it is 3 a.m. and I'm awake -darn that anyway -but I figured I best take advantage of being awake and the computer being free from other users for now too.

Hope your sleep patterns return to "normal" for you. I know what that's like! and it ain't good.
I remember that supposedly funny video the idiot did for the WHC dinner. So insulting and arrogant, he belittles this country every time he breathes.

The man is an amazing boob, at least in comparison to others who have either held the Presidency or sought it. He isn't the total idiot some folks make him out to be, but if his last name wasn't Bush, he would have had trouble being elected to a state legislature.
Just to show my non-partisanship, pretty much the same could be said for Hillary Clinton, of course, although I think she wouldn't have had as hard a time being elected to the state legislature. But that would have been the end of it. Maybe Mayor of a mid-size city, if it was a weak field.
Sigh. Sad, aint it? It has been so long since I've felt genuinely good about a presidential candidate or hopeful about their ability to change anything, that I can't even remember when the last time was. Hillary "mispoke" -- how stupid was that (not to mention a silly LIE) when she knows there was video coverage of the event. Obama is so inexperienced--he is charismatic all right, but that isn't enough--and McCain...oh don't get me started. Do I have to vote? At least it will be a new face and voice and not Dubya. Sheesh!
