Sage Sayings?

Ready or not, here they are -this week's lovely and uber intelligent (I'm quite sure) Bushisms!

"I want to thank you for coming to the White House to give me an opportunity to urge you to work with these five senators and three congressman, to work hard to get this trade promotion authority moving. The power to be, well most of the power that be, sits right here."

And, if he was surprised, found it amazing that he was elected, think how shocked so many of us were on learning that took place! ARRGH!

Remarkable that one with so little could go so far... sigh.

Little wonder that we are in such a mess with diplomatic skills of that caliber. Wow.

Of, course, he really wasn't elected (at least not the first time...)

Jen: Enjoyed your previous post. As for your Bushisms, How in the h-ll did he get elected?

I'm going to miss him. I would vote for him again if I could just for the comedy relief.

I agree with Dr. Sardonicus, though I personally don't think he was elected EITHER time.

These would be funnier if we weren't in such a sad mess. Maybe Moron Sayings would be a more apt title. I continue to be profoundly irritated that he hasn't been impeached, but such is life, I guess.

These were fun.

I wish it was all that simple when we talk about war, we're really talking about peace.
