Time again for those lovely Bushisms that so many of you have come to expect, to know, to love too I dare say, for the week ahead.
Here they are!

"B ut the true strength of America is found in the hearts and souls of people like Travis, people who are willing to love their neighbor, just like they would like to love themselves."
--Springfield, Missouri, February 9, 2004
You know, reading those clips as I was typing them, it dawned on me that had anyone made the glib remark to me as he made in the first one -about working three jobs to support myself and my kids -back when I was almost always working two jobs, it would have been all I could do then to keep from hauling of and decking that person. And then to tell them if it's so great, why don't you try it - especially at these low-level wages!
Just my opinion there, folks.

That particular quote proves that he doesn't get it. He's not even in the same room as the basic discussion.
I wonder at the clever positioning of that quote on Feb 3 followed by the one about making the pie higher on Feb 5.
What a complete ass...that first statement really ticks me off. I am glad I have never voted for this idiot!!!
Travis put it so well - he's not even in the same room as the discussion.
I am a single Mom, since my son was 3. And I worked 3 jobs for many many years. Even when I was lucky enough to get 1 good paying job it was overtime, overtime, overtime. What a moron he is. I so look forward to the day he slinks off to Saudi Arabia to count all the blood money he's socking away there.
I still have dreams of impeaching him after the fact. that's the legacy he deserves.
Wow - I got serious and angry. He makes my blood boil.
I'm voting for Barack tomorrow, that should make me feel hopeful again.
I wonder if raising the pie is anything like raising the roof....
I shall be careful not to mingle in US politics, but I must say you caught some good ones...
Thank you for visiting my blog!
It sucks that people even have to work three jobs just to survive!
I have an award for youuuuu :)
The day that this boob leaves The White House should be declared a national holiday.
I DO want to make it plain: That man is not a Native Son of Texas! People keep saying he is a Texan...huh uhhh! Excellent collection of idiotic remarks. He makes it so easy, doesn't he?
Would someone PLEASE set the clock ahead a year?!!?
