Know When to Fold?

Ah -time again for the lovely, lilting words -usually not wise -but then, what can one expect when they're coming direct from the "DUBYA?"

Monday, October 6, 2008 - 106 days left

"See, free nations are peaceful nations. Free nations don't attack each other. Free nations don't develop weapons of mass destruction."
--Milwaukee, Wisconsin, October 2003

Tuesday, October 7, 2008 - 105 days left

"I own a timber company? That's news to me. Need some wood?"
--Second presidential debate, St. Louis, Missouri, October 2004

Wednesday, October 8, 2008 - 104 days left

"Saddam would still be in power if [John Kerry] were the president of the United States, and the world would be a lot better off."
--Second presidential debate, St. Louis, Missouri, October 8, 2004

Thursday, October 9, 2008 - 103 days left

"[W]heter they be Christian, Jew, or Muslim, or Hindu, people have heard the universal call to love a neighbor just like they'd like to be called themselves."
--Washington, D.C., October 2003

Friday, October 10, 2008 - 102 days left

"This morning my administration released the budget numbers for fiscal 2006. These budget numbers are not just estimates; these are the actual results for the fiscal year that ended February the 30th."
--Washington, D.C., October 2006 (referencing the 2006 fiscal year, which ended on September 30th)

Saturday and Sunday, October 11/12, 2008 - 101 days left and 100 days left!

"One has a stronger hand when there's more people playing your same cards."
--Washington, D.C., October 11, 2006

And, in case you haven't figured it out, it is this last Bushism quote here that made me choose my title for the post today. Yep, "You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em" and I think that's something DUBYA forgot in this big card game.

Have a great week ahead now. Better days have to be ahead, don't 'cha think?

Well, if the Republicans hold the Presidency then you'll likely end up with a new calendar of Palinisms.

Many couldn't wait for Clinton to leave office either. Americans are never happy with anything. We have too much so all we do is complain. But we all have the freedom to complain don't we? Yes, we do. You have a great week too. :)
