We're surrounded by lush greenery and fully blooming rhododendrun bushes. It's absolutely wonderful! Spring in the northwest is so much more fun that spring in southern California...to me, anyway.

Your weather patterns sound a lot like what we've been having. Friday and Saturday were in the upper 80s, maybe even lower 90s. Saturday was windy and very humid with lots of sun. Then comes Sunday with gray skies and rain and a major chill! Air conditioning one day, and off again the next!

Gorgeous flowers! I never have been good at remembering the names of most flowers and shrubs so I can't tell you what the mystery shrubs are. They sure are pretty though. Mother Nature can be pretty amazing at times!

The property you describe sounds wonderful... and I would LOVE to be your neighbor! Unfortunately, my finances and circumstances don't allow us to even consider the possibility of a move and a place like that!

The power of prayer is unbelievably strong and I don't know what my husband or I would have done if we hadn't had the regular prayer of our church and individual friends.
Heres hoping and praying that the little girl will be continuing to improve and get well.

Please pray for 9 yr old Matthew who has recently had his leg amputated because of cancer. He has a lot of phantom pain in his leg and it does worry him. He is also having continual chemo until Oct and he gets very ill and has bad infections that affect his bowel. His family are devastated.

Since Muri's breast cancer, we've had some false alarms and long waits, so we know what it's like (than goodness, it;s been 15 years with no recurrence). Azeleas and dogwood were my Mom's favorites.

Class reunion? Not my thing, by any means. I've never gone to one, nor do I imagine any way that I would find it worth my while. I wasn't much of a popular guy, and I don't think there are more than two or three folks who would even remember me. I was way shy. I only got over my shyness after my school days, for the most part.
