I do NOT miss days like that with my kids. :-)terrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12510457113017189354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34398479.post-51887348005708993022011-10-14T14:54:21.080-04:002011-10-14T14:54:21.080-04:00Interesting turnabout. That's a trait I wish I could turn on or off, as needed, for myself! :-)Suldoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07778845367184916684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34398479.post-6781900319862597772011-10-14T07:06:36.278-04:002011-10-14T07:06:36.278-04:00My 15 YO grandson, who is autistic, has refused po...My 15 YO grandson, who is autistic, has refused point blank for several years to do any kind of homework. He says *I am at school all day & when I'm done then its MY time* To get round this the school make him do his homework in the lunch break and he quite enjoys doing this on his own..... so everyone is happy.
It is difficult to get older autistic youngsters to conform. He is always getting detentions.
I know my daughter gets so tensed up about it. I think its important to try & get these things sorted while they are young... as in Maya's case.
Maggie X

Nuts in MayMaggie Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06183886005936250976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34398479.post-81220122038294700442011-10-14T06:45:28.518-04:002011-10-14T06:45:28.518-04:00Oh well - we all fell like that sometimes :-) I th...Oh well - we all fell like that sometimes :-) I think that it is quite human NOT to do what you are told from time to time ... :-)Rune Eidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01008247272056395901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34398479.post-43353957339810752732011-10-14T01:50:19.661-04:002011-10-14T01:50:19.661-04:00Well Bud, there are many times when I think things...Well Bud, there are many times when I think things here are really "interesting" to say the least and more than likely I'd probably say this could very easily pass for some kind of Chinese (or any other culture) curse! Some days it does give a person cause to reflect on sanity issues, for sure and then in a heartbeat, things reverse and all is just wonderful, peachy keen, ya know! But I'm sure you already know I wouldn't trade it for anything -just too priceless!Jenihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16425701332785470116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34398479.post-62088180007503351322011-10-14T01:16:56.770-04:002011-10-14T01:16:56.770-04:00One of the amazing things about children is how fa...One of the amazing things about children is how fast they can completely change course when they want to.
