I haven't seen it in so long I really can't be one hundred percent certain.
When hubby and I first got married, my hair was pale golden blond, but of course he liked black hair, so to please him, I dyed it crow's wing black. But, I looked hideous, at least in my opinion, so a week later, I stripped it out and put the blond back on it, but of course, it only stripped out so far, so the blond was actually orange. A few more strippings and it was blond again, where it stayed for several years. Then I decided to dye it back to its natural color, or as close to it as I could recall. I did, and I looked like crap, to me anyway, so I decided to frost it. That way I could go back to my blond gradually.
I bought the kit and had my cousin do the deed. I told her a light frosting. So, for the next hour or so, she dug that crochet hook through those little holes in that plastic cap and dug runnels in my scalp. Instead of a few strands of hair, I had huge thick wads of it jerked through those tiny holes. Okay, so then she applied the dye and I sat there, my scalp on fire for the next thirty minutes. Then we rinsed and removed the cap and instead of the light frost I was expecting and wanted, I got a freaking blizzard! The top of my head was snow white, the underside, dark brown!
Lesson learned, never let your cousin frost your hair!!Linda L Ruckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08471292483837175904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34398479.post-9276770861802454412007-04-03T19:57:00.000-04:002007-04-03T19:57:00.000-04:00LOL what Tomcat said!I've been down this road many...LOL what Tomcat said!

I've been down this road many, many, many, many times. One time, the hairdresser put these aluminum foil thingees on my hair and when we took them out, I was striped. Didn't know it until I got home. Got my sister-in-law to give me a quickie impromtu hair dye job which helped cover it up. I've got a million hair dying stories...thanks for the memories...I think...lol.thewriterslifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09408434848838447115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34398479.post-22433746722505362422007-04-03T18:00:00.000-04:002007-04-03T18:00:00.000-04:00I couldn't resist a chuckle here. Jeni, had you been that age and done the same thing today, most people would have assumed it was intentional and thought nothing of it.TomCathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11397335545286040472noreply@blogger.com
